L is for Laws of The Universe (Spiritual Success) – 21 Days of Abundance

Alphabet of Abundance

Day 12 – “I place my intension into the vast ocean of all possibilities and allow the universe to work through me”.

When I stated 21 Days of Abundance, I had only ever heard of The Law of Attraction.  Since embarking upon this journey and learning about conscious living, I have come to realise that the Universe consists of many laws which, if we are to attract abundance into our lives, we must abide by. In this post we look at the 6 Laws of Spiritual Success. (LOSS)

These laws are different to the so-called “Laws of the Land”.  The LOSS do not discriminate, and we are all entitled to them, regardless of gender, race, class or religion.  The Laws of the Universe present every single one of us with opportunity, equality, abundance and freedom.  We just need to know how to unlock the magic.

  1. The Law of Pure Potentiality – “I can create anything, anytime, anywhere”

This law requires the ability to invest in everything with a pure heart.  You may have noticed when we are half committed to something, we receive only half the reward – if any reward at all.  When we commit fully from the heart we see that we are reward tenfold.  The moment we decide to focus and go all in is the moment where we feel a shift, and we realise that we are capable of moving mountains.  A simple example could be when we find ourselves stuck in bad situations at work, relationships or friendships – it can be hard to walk away.  We feel like this is what we deserve and this is as far as our potential goes.  When we become aware of what is going on and what we have allowed to happen, we find the strength to do the unimaginable. We speak up or we walk away.  Our awareness brings us to the realisation that the power to teach, learn, create and love lies within us.  That we hold the key to unlock our pure potential, no one else.

  1. The Law of Giving – “Today and every day, I give what I want to receive”.

In order to receive the best we must first give the best, and we do this by making sure that we are full within our-self. When we are full, we are in a powerful position to give freely without wanting anything in return.  We put no conditions on what we give because, deep in our hearts, we know that it will be returned in someway or somehow.  It is important that we release ourselves from any expectation and attachment to a particular outcome.  There is great reward in giving freely and passing on positivity. Try it for yourself with something as small as a smile.  The next time you are out smile at a stranger and see what happens.  Be careful though, a smile is contagious, and you could start a butterfly affect.

  1. The Law of Karma – “Today I make great choices because they are made with full awareness”.

We have often heard the expression, “what goes around comes around” or “Karma is a bitch”.  And she is – if you continue to make decisions that are harmful towards you and others.  The key here is to be present and fully aware when making any decisions.  Think with an open heart, void of anger, revenge, or any negative feelings.  If you feel any of the emotions mentioned above just step back, take a moment to really think about what you want, how you might acquire it, and what consequences your decisions may yield to you.  The impact of living consciously is life changing because you realise that you can orchestrate pretty much anything.  You are in control of your emotions and you decide how to react in certain situations.  Karma will only ever hurt you, so it is in our best interest to make decisions from a place of awareness.

  1. The Law of Least Effort – “I expect and accept abundance to flow to me easily”

Make your decision, ask for what you want (I is for Intention), and then get out of the way and let the universe take care of the details.  The universe always delivers in the most spectacular ways but only if you are open to receiving.  One summer I was out of work and I wanted to put my energies into helping my local community.  I had been thinking about volunteering with the homeless for quite some time.  As a freelancer, I was worried about my level of contribution, commitment and consistency as they would likely be affected when paid work came up.  As I walked home with the desire to help fresh in my mind, I stumbled across a soup kitchen set up at the local bus station.  It was not there when I passed by earlier.  The first person I spoke to was the organiser.  She explained they were looking for volunteers and asked when I could start?  I explained my situation as an actor, and it was agreed that I could help for as long as I was free.  I soon became a regular volunteer, helping at the soup kitchen as well as the shelter. I brought in food and board games and I loved listening to the guests, and they enjoyed talking to me. It was as if they were my calling and I was theirs.

I was not aware of what I had unlocked.  All I knew is that I felt different, like I had tapped into something, an energy. 21 Days has made me more aware of the laws at play. We should always allow ourselves the space to receive answers from the universe.

  1. The Law of Intention and Desire – “I place my intention into the vast ocean of all possibilities and allow the universe to work through me”.

This law is very much like the one above.  This time I will relate it to my career, and I am fully aware of how I turned things around for myself.  For years I played small tv roles, to the point where this was all I was being seen for.  I made guest appearances on two major tv shows and I thought this could be the turning point.  However, I was not committed in my thinking and of course nothing changed.  I kept getting cast as policewoman, social worker, lawyer, doctor etc.  After a while, I got to the point where I wanted more out of my career even though I had no idea how it was going to happen.

On a piece of paper, I wrote down that I wanted a regular part on a tv soap or to play the lead in a 10-part tv series.  I placed it on my dressing table where I could see it whenever I looked into the mirror.  Having taken the first step, I noticed that I started to turn down any work that did not suit my plan.  At first it was a shock to me, I could be out of work for a long time.  I started saying no to stereotypes; shopkeeper, call centre employee, terrorists wife, gossiping aunty, mother forcing daughter into an arranged marriage, and all these characters has one thing in common, they did not speak English.  “NO” became my mantra.  My agent could not believe it.  “It’s paid work” she gasped.  “I couldn’t give a shit” I retorted.  “It is my career and I want to play different parts; I want to be taken seriously”.  I changed my thinking from; taking any job that came my way for the fear of being out of work to living consciously and putting my faith into the universe. I believed that it was only a matter of time before I landed a TV job that I really wanted. In less than 5 months of writing down my intention, and casting it out into the uncertain field of possibilities, I received the call that changed my life.

  1. The Law of Detachment – “As I let go of the need to arrange my life, the Universe brings Abundance to me”

The last 5 years of my life have been the most transformational.  I have reassessed friendships and relationships and I have questioned my choices that have led me to this present moment. 21 Days has empowered me to continue excavating my journey further.  It is as if a light has been switched on and I have uncovered the channels of clear communication between myself and the universe. The thing is the channels have always been there for me, and they are there for you too. We have just never been shown how to communicate and put the Laws into practice.  I no longer feel the need to hold on to people or things that no longer serve me or my purpose on this planet.  If it’s too hard and it hurts, let it go.  All I know is that “If something is meant for you, it will not pass by you”.

Play by the Laws of the Spiritual Success and just watch what you attract.  I invite you transform your life. Once you remove all the blocks holding you back you can start to co-create. I may not always get it right, but the difference now is that I know, and I can rectify as soon as I see the negative clouds heading my way.  I will always reach for the understanding that abundance is all around me, waiting for me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and I hope you can see how the Laws of Spiritual Success and of the Universe can help us all live more fulfilled lives.

Have a fulfilled week ahead.

  1. I don’t think I’ve heard of any of this before, so it was interesting to read about something new. Although I don’t think any of that would really work for me; I’m too much of a pessimist after decades of being worn down by everyone and everything
